Hello this is my first post. I was just wondering if anyone here has read "The Matrix Warrior" and what your thoughts on it were. Likes, dislikes, also if anyone has read or is planning to read "The Matrix Sorcerer".
I'm not sure if this is appropriate for this particular community if not I apologize. I was just curious as to what other people thought of the books.

"The Passion of Neo" by Stephen Faller [Mar. 24th, 2005|11:33 pm]

Probably the one series of articles that best explicates the Christian elements in the "Matrix" series, with*out* resorting to "Christian propaganda", is this, by Stephen Faller, a Christian with a doctorate in theology, and the author of "Beyond the Matrix: Revolutions and Resolutions". Since tomorrow is Good Friday, I thought I'd share this essay in five parts with you:

Okay... as a gentler follow-up to the decidedly anti-"Matrix" article I posted yesterday, here's one by Bernard White, aka. Rama-Kandra, himself a devout Catholic, but certainly more open-hearted and open-minded than Steve Kellmeyer:

"The New Gnostic Gospel" by Steve Kellmeyer [Mar. 14th, 2005|11:48 pm]

This is an *old* article (September, 2000) from "Envoy", a Catholic magazine, which purports that the first movie was full of Gnostic elements (I see it as being as contra-Gnostic as you can get, but that's just me.). The author is decidedly anti-"Matrix", so be warned: there's a lot of sneering at the first movie involved (sneering to the point that part of me is convinced that the author is an Agent in disguise...).

Think there's some truth to it? Think it's alarmist nonsense? Discuss... or tear it apart, whichever powers your hovercraft.

Ok, first note, as you may notice one of the frames say 'Matrix Theology' followed by 'Veko.' This is such because I am the Admin. I will make Mods out of persons who both are worthy (good grammer and punctuation(simple typos are fine since I myself am a horrid typist), recruiting, posting meaningful post(you may create a topic whenever you feel like it, as long as the topic has something to do with the matrix or related subjects)) and willing.

When you become a mod you will both A) gain the abilities and B) get your name over one of the open pictures on the forum avatar.

Ok, then, here is my first meaningful post:

Alot is going on right now for the Matrix. The Matrix Online is right around the corner, The Matrix: Path of Neo is reported for this Christmas holiday, and I'm sure we're all still watching the Ultimate Matrix Collection, I know I am.

Here is my first question, What are your thoughts on the Merovingian?

I have heard everything from him being a programmer like the Architect(he did say he personally programmed that pie...or cake...or whatever it was), to him being one of the Ones before Neo. I will give my thoughts when I obtain more time to do so.
